Credit Controller

Grafton Banks Finance are working with a well-respected commercial company with offices in Brighton, East Sussex to recruit a Credit Controller on a full-time initial contract basis for a minimum period of 12 months. Reporting into the Head of Finance and working within a busy finance team you will be responsible for the credit control and cashier team across all managed portfolios. You will be responsible for ensuring reports to clients are issued and take on project work.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Complete credit checks on new clients.
• Raise all sales invoices.
• Manage and respond to client queries.
• Post all receipts on accounting software reconciling the payment received. 
• Send statements of account to clients and reminders.
• Debt chasing overdue clients. 
• Legal proceedings on bad debt.

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Goal-orientated.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic.

The successful candidate will have experience of working within Credit Control and Accounts Receivable alongside management experience of a small team. You will need to have excellent communication skills and IT skills. This is based on an initial 12-month FTC
