Divisional Finance Manager
Salary: £70k - 90k per year + 15% bonus, pension, health care

Grafton Banks Finance is currently recruiting for a Divisional Finance Manager for a growing AIM listed organisation with offices in Cambridge. This company has experienced substantial growth through recent UK and International acquisitions so it is an exciting time to join.
This post is 40% FP&A and the rest is commercial and operatonal finance focussesd. The position will support two key businesses within the group. You shall provide strategic finance analysis to the Managing Directors to enable them to understand their results, give advice on financial contractual terms with clients and lead the division finance team in delivering strong day to day transactional support.
Further, you shall lead the consolidation of the Group results and be responsible for reporting the financial results to the Group plc Board. You shall look for consistency in reporting of information across the divisions and make developments to evolve the Board papers as changes occur.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare and review division monthly results, providing insightful variance analysis
Prepare the consolidation of the Science Group results and lead preparation of the plc Board Finance pack
Lead regular revenue and P&L forecasting and the annual financial Planning cycle
Liaise with senior management in the business to improve the reporting of information to increase visibility and use of financial data
Monitor and influence the business to ensure they are in compliance with group policies such as business expenditure, pricing of customer contracts and finance terms of contracts
Involvement in adhoc finance projects, reports and analysis as required by the Board and senior management
You’ll report directly to the Finance Director and will be a skilled analyst with a commercial mind-set built on a robust foundation of financial and accounting practice. You’ll be engaging and convincing, able to communicate change by influencing stakeholders and deliver results.
Experience & Qualifications:
Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
Experience of FP&A and business partnering is essential
Effective communicator, able to engage and explain financial results to business personnel
Ability to manage competing priorities with multiple stakeholders
Capable of working effectively and efficiently under pressure in a fast moving environment
An analytical approach to resolving problems and finding effective solutions
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel.
