Group Financial Controller - Manufacturing

Grafton Banks Finance is looking for an ambitious and qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Group Financial Controller to join a fast-growing manufacturing business in Chichester, West Sussex. Taking on the role of Group Financial Controller you will take overall responsibility for financial accounts, treasury, operational finance, projects and payroll.

You will be joining a company effervescent with new and existing business in a sector that is booming, and a culture that’s vibrant, outgoing, and social.

Key responsibilities include –

-          Contributing to the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting to the Board

-          Key role in ensuring compliance with legislative and statutory requirements

-          Act as point of contact for external audit team

-          Responsible for weekly cash flow reporting

-          VAT, capital investment process, fixed assets register

-          Standard costing

-          Balance sheet and P&L statements

-          Overseeing a team of 3 finance staff

-          Interesting project work and involvement in new business

-          Prepare statutory accounts for the year end

-          Assist with the preparation of the Group Annual Report.

The successful candidate for this role will be:-

- Fully Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant

- Manufacturing sector experience (essential) with standard costings.

- You’ll possesses a mature and dedicated approach, together with the drive, ambition and desire to succeed.

- You will also have a good understanding of business partnering, cash forecasting and experience of preparing year end statutory accounts.

The business offers a hybrid work pattern with a minimum of 3 days in the office in Chichester, so you will need to live locally to be considered for this role.
