Private Equity Finance Recruitment
Grafton Banks Finance has developed business relationships with various Private Equity Firms over the years with the purpose of assisting them with finance recruitment for existing and future investments across the South East of the UK. Being based in Sussex, Surrey and Kent rather than London means that we are very well networked locally.
One of these firms was Business Growth Fund, (BGF) who recently invested in Source BMX in Hastings. BGF contacted Grafton Banks Finance to assist with the recruitment of Source BMX first Financial Controller. Brothers Rich and Mark Moore established the business in 2003 with a single shop in Bexhill-on-Sea and have grown the business into the largest online retailer of BMX bikes and accessories in the world.
The brief for the Financial Controller position was specific in that it required a high energy, ambitious, locally based qualified accountant/Financial Controller with recent e-commerce industry exposure and experience of implementing or improving financial systems. Grafton Banks Finance used their substantial network and database of locally based candidates to compile a shortlist of the five most relevant candidates for the position. Three were interviewed and one candidate was subsequently offered the job.
