Payroll Manager (FTC)

Grafton Banks Finance is excited to support a dynamic client in West Sussex who are seeking a Payroll Manager on a part-time, fixed-term contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to oversee the payroll function while working flexible hours, ideally across five days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the payroll function, supervising a small team through the entire payroll process.
• Lead the monthly payroll cycle and ensure all deadlines are met.
• Provide training and development to the payroll team, enhancing their skills and performance.
• Prepare detailed payroll reports and conduct ad hoc analysis for senior management.
• Handle monthly billing processes efficiently.
• Offer support for ad hoc projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Availability to start immediately or on short notice (preferably in September).
• Strong, full-end-to-end payroll experience, ideally within a payroll bureau environment.
• CIPP qualifications (desired but not essential).
• Proven experience in payroll management, whether at a supervisory or managerial level.
