Senior Management Accountant

£60,000 – 65,000 + benefits

Grafton Banks Finance is working with an AIM Listed Group to recruit a Senior Management Accountant.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller this leads the production of the monthly management accounting, manage the balance sheet, and assist with delivering the regulatory and statutory obligations.

We are looking for a qualified accountant with experience of preparing management accounts. This could be someone working in a management accounting role in industry or someone working in practice who is preparing management accounts for their clients.

Key tasks:

• Manage and complete the Group management accounts monthly.
• Complete the monthly consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations and PUP adjustments.
• Ownership of balance sheet, ensuring that key accounts are reconciled monthly, and items of concern are resolved or escalated as appropriate.
• Management of the junior management accountant within the team.
• Support the preparation of half year and annual Group financial statements; and assist with the year-end audit.
• Complete and submit the Group VAT returns.
• Preparation of Group Corporation tax packs.

This role is hybrid working with three days per week in the clients offices in Croydon, there is free parking. Salary is up to £65,000 + benefits including pension and 25 days holiday.
