Junior Management Accountant

Job Title: Junior Management Accountant

Location: Sevenoaks

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year

Grafton Banks have partnered up with a growing business based in Sevenoaks, who is looking to recruit a Junior Management Accountant to their team.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of financial tasks to support the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation of end to end management accounts

- Conducting bank reconciliations

- Performing balance sheet reconciliations

- Preparation and posting of journals

- Maintaining the fixed asset register, including depreciation

- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting

- Supporting with year-end audits

- Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support to the Finance team

Key Requirements:

- Part qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)

- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a finance team

- Strong understanding of management accounting principles

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other finance software
