Accountancy recruitment firm expands into new Hove offices

Sussex-based accountancy recruitment business Grafton Banks Finance has moved into newly refurbished offices in Hove, to accommodate its growing team and provide a new meeting space for candidates.
The team at Grafton Banks Finance places qualified accountants into local businesses across East and West Sussex and south Surrey. Founded in September 2008, the business launched a new division this year to focus on the recruitment of part-qualified accountants and it is currently seeking a senior consultant to head up its interim division.
Explaining the move to bigger premises, director Alex Gregory said: "The business is going from strength to strength thanks to our investment in client relationships. Turnover for the first quarter of this year is nearly 200 per cent up on the first quarter of last year and we’ve doubled the amount of both permanent and interim staff we’ve placed."
Grafton Banks Finance works with successful local businesses. It is also helping a growing number of nationwide companies with local operations - particularly in the fields of energy, insurance and travel. The firm is looking to expand its geographic reach by opening new offices in Surrey.
Alex adds: "We have seen an increase in client requests this year and the finance recruitment market seems a lot more buoyant. We have always believed that as a specialist, niche operator with a local focus we can provide a superior service to the large national operators. Our success demonstrates there really is a space in this market for a specialist recruitment firm which can do a better job than the big recruitment factories of finding and matching local talent to local businesses."
