Grafton Banks Finance is a leading recruitment specialist, with offices Brighton and Reigate.
We specialise in the provision of accountancy and finance professionals on a permanent and interim basis, to companies of all sizes throughout the Sussex and Surrey business communities. Our Brighton office is looking for an experienced administrator to work with our recruitment team. This is an integral role to the success of our business. Whilst training is involved, and the successful applicant will have a period of crossover to train with the current administrator, prior experience of working in a busy office environment is essential. Skills required include a good, positive face to face and telephone manner, being organised and efficient, great administrative skills and IT literacy including word, excel and outlook.
Duties include answering incoming phones; maintaining a recruitment database of candidates and clients including updating CVs accurately; processing temp timesheets including chasing for submission and approval; liaising with our payroll company and ensuring that the process of temp payments runs smoothly. The administrator is the first to meet and greet prospective candidates and clients at our office and deals with the administration that arises from initial registration as well as updating candidate details as and when necessary.
In addition there are various daily, weekly and monthly administrative tasks which go along with the running of a recruitment office. Whilst all consultants are responsible for dealing with their own paperwork, some support is needed at busy times.
As well as having prior experience in office work we are looking for someone with a really good positive outlook, and a ‘can do’ approach to their work. We are a small business and we work closely and happily with each other and it is essential that the person who joins us is enthusiastic and able to work well within a group.
