My client are a highly reputable, commerical company with offices near Lewes, East Sussex.You'll be apart of a small, tight knit team working as the stand-alone Payroller. Working in a relaxed and friendly working environment, this is a permanent job on either a part time or permanent basis. 

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the monthly payroll process
  • Set up new starters and leavers
  • Assist employees with any queries (talk them through any problems)
  • Liaise with other members of staff with any changes
  • Check and enter correct information for employees onto the payroll system
  • Check tax codes and deductions
  • Calculate holiday pay, sick pay, maternity pay etc
  • Issue P45's and other tax forms
  • Assist with other areas of payroll within the Organisation
  • Project Support

  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Team-player
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Respect confidential information
  • Good IT skills, experience in using excel
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
